I love her so much
I really would be a lost kitten without my best friend. He always knows exactly what to say. And even when I’m a sad mess and don’t text him back all day, he keeps texting and telling me fun stories and cheering me up. You’re the best, moon.
To the anonymous sweethearts that messaged me on here, thank you again. I read those messages whenever I am feeling down, and they really boost my spirits. Whenever you get the chance to show kindness to someone or make someones’ day, take that opportunity! Just thinking about it makes me feel convicted to start doing that more. It is so easy for us to remember bad things that were said to us or hurtful experiences. So why not try to do something memorable for someone that is positive. I am sure every single person who reads this has had something mean said about them in middle school or high school that they can still remember and will never forget. We hold onto those and they can consume us for years and years. Wouldn’t it be so much better to hold onto words of kindness and to compliments? The other day, my mom said she decided to write a nice note on the receipt for the waiter or waitress every time she goes out from now on. We went to The Chop House and she started her new routine. It was adorable because she got so excited to write a simple little message to our waiter. My sweet momma is right. That small gesture could make that person’s day. Kindness, manners, and compliments are far underutilized. And here’s some advice that works every time: If you’re having a bad day, try making someone elses’ day better! It really works!
Leave it to a weekend night when I’m supposed to be enjoying myself to start thinking about you and have to leave my friends. Why does this happen? I will never not be in love with you. And tonight, it’s completely consuming me.
This is totally me while running. But I love it. Inspiration to keep on keepin’ on.
Today I learned the importance of getting fitted for a bra. Ladies, do it.
“Most relationships you have will end. Breakups are gonna happen and theyre gonna be painful. Don’t look at a breakup as something to get rid of…look at it as an opportunity to leave that person better than you found them. As followers of Christ we have a responsibility to break up well.”-Jesse Holden
Dang! convicted.
You know you’re good friends when you get a phone call and they are venting about the exact same thing you need to vent about. Thank God for Ross Johnson.
Do you guys want to know about my first and only ever encounter with whiskey?
As most of you know, I’m no drinker at all. But a few years ago, I went to England to visit my family and while I was there, we decided to hop on a plane and go over to Ireland for a few days. I stood atop the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland and looked down over Lake Guinness and our tour guide offered us all a shot of whiskey. This was my moment.
Here, we have the BEFORE picture:

And then the AFTER:

So there you have it. The Whiskey Chronicles. It was a short lived experience.
Seriously, these messages come at the best times. You are so so very sweet and so was the last anonymous messager. That means so much to me. High school was an odd time for me, and it’s so funny to me that people found me intimidating or too popular to approach. I wish you all would have! I would have loved to get to know you. It just really means the world that people say positive things about me. It makes me want to hold myself accountable for when I slip up and say something negative about someone. Thank you for sharing some kindness with me :) And that is not weird at all to say! It’s great and it made my night. So thank you again!
